Dr. John Veltheim, founder of the BodyTalk™ System, is an Australian doctor of Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, sports medicine specialist, Reiki Master, philosopher, teacher, and author. He previously served as principal of the Brisbane College of Acupuncture & Natural Therapies before developing BodyTalk™.

His extensive post-graduate studies include Quantum Theory, Applied Kinesiology, Dynamic Systems Theory, Bioenergetic Therapies, Osteopathy, Sports Medicine, Chinese Medicine, Ancient Healing Systems, Chiropractic, Counseling, Comparative Philosophy, and Theology.

After struggling for years with the Epstein-Barr virus, he used BodyTalk™ to heal himself, leading to its creation.

 

He later founded the International BodyTalk Association located now in Sarasota, Florida, to train and support practitioners. Since the 1990s, BodyTalk™ has grown to over 4,000 certified practitioners worldwide, along with numerous students who apply its wisdom to their lives. The system is further supported by continental, national, and regional associations.
